Terms and Conditions
The Breeder’s Connection is not an Auction Service. Although we are referred to as an “Online Auctionâ
€ web site it is important to realize that we are not a traditional "auctioneer." Instead, The Breeder’s Connection acts
as a venue to allow rodeo stock breeders to buy and sell rodeo stock in an auction-style format commonly referred to as
"online auctions" or "auctions." We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result, we
have no control over the quality, health, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell livestock or the ability
of buyers to pay for livestock.  We cannot ensure that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction. Consequently,
we do not transfer legal ownership of livestock from the seller to the buyer, all transactions are made between the seller and
the highest bidder at the close of the auction.

The Breeder’s Connection is not a Classifieds. We are not a website to advertise stock for sale.  By placing
stock for sale on The Breeder’s Connection you are consigning them to be sold to the highest bidder.  Also by placing
stock for sale on The Breeder’s Connection you are agreeing to all terms and conditions set forth by The Breederâ
€™s Connection and will adhere to all consignor rules.  Failure to follow rules will forfeit your right to use The Breederâ
€™s Connections services as a seller and buyer.

Consignor Rules:

By consigning livestock to be sold on The Breeder’s Connection you have the right to post a reserve to be met.
Placing a reserve is the minimum bid that you will receive on livestock consigned.

By consigning livestock on The Breeder's Connection, you are agreeing to pay a 5% commission fee of the highest bid to
The Breeder’s Connection if your reserve is met.
If your reserve is not met you are not obligated to pay a 5%
commission fee.
The Breeder’s Connection will post a date when the 5% commission fee of the highest bid is due.
Failure to pay the fee by the due date will forfeit your right to use The Breeder’s Connections services as a seller and
buyer, and your delinquency will be made known on the web site.

After your consignment is posted, all bids will be accepted and will be open for one week, a 7 day period.  If your reserve
is not met at the close of the auction, or the highest bidder fails to purchase, you have the right to re-consign your livestock
or give the second highest bidder the option to purchase.  If you re-consign your livestock it will be placed at the end of the
lot list.  If we do not have a lot list at that time you will have the option to keep the bidding open for another 7 period, or
wait for a later time.  If your reserve is met and you do not follow through with the transaction, you will not be able to re-
consign that same livestock at a later time.

At the close of the auction it is your responsibility to contact the highest bidder and must work out all payment and delivery
details with the bidder.  The Breeder’s Connection is not responsible for delivery or payment options.  It is the
consignors responsibility to have all health and brand papers available at the time of purchase.

Bidder Rules:

By placing a bid on The Breeder’s Connection you are agreeing to all terms and conditions set forth by The Breederâ
€™s Connection and will adhere to all bidders rules.  Failure to follow rules will forfeit your right to use The Breeder’s
Connections services as a seller and buyer.  The consignor has the right to post when payment is due, payment options, and
shipping details.
If you cannot reach the payment or delivery requirements set by the consignor, do not bid.  Do
not place a bid if you are not willing, or do not have the means to purchase the livestock.  The Breeder’s
Connection is available to serious bidders only.
If you are the highest bidder at the close of the auction it is your
responsibility to contact the consignor and must work out all payment and delivery details with the consignor.  The Breederâ
€™s Connection is not responsible for delivery or payment options.

Once you place a bid on The Breeder’s Connection you will be sent an automated email requesting contact
information.  You will be given 3 days from the time your bid is posted to reply to the email with the contact information
requested.  When your three day period has expired, and you did not reply with the requested information your bid will be
deleted from the current auction.

If you made a mistake placing a bid, and you want to correct your mistake, please
Contact Us and we will correct your
mistake as soon as possible.

If you place a bid, and it is not higher than the bid previously posted before your bid, your bid will be deleted as soon as
The Breeder’s Connection is aware of you mistake.

The consignor has the right to post a reserve price to be met.  If your bid does not meet, or is higher than, the reserve price,
you will receive an email notifying you and requesting a higher bid.

If you notice that you are later out bid, just like any other auction, place another (higher) bid.

All bids will stop at the scheduled time, unless there is a bid placed within 15 minutes of 8:00, or two or more people
actively bidding and their bids are less than 15 minutes apart.  This will allow time for people with slow computer
connections and for any computer problems that anyone may experience.

Bidding will stop, tenatively, at the scheduled time, unless there is a bid placed within 15 minutes of 8:00.  At this time, The
Breeders Connection will wait 15 minutes for any bidders who are still actively bidding.  If no bids are received within this
15 minutes, the auction will officially close.  If, within those 15 minutes, bidders are actively bidding, the auction will remain
open until the timing of the bids lapses beyond a 15 minute increment.

This will give everyone a chance to place 'the last bid'.

Who knows when it will end if we get a "bidding war".

At the close of the auction the highest bidder will be contacted.  If you, as the highest bidder, fail to follow through with the
purchase, you will forfeit your right to use The Breeder’s Connections services as a seller and buyer, and your
delinquency will be made known on the web site.  If the highest bidder fails to follow through with his commitment, the
second highest bidder will be contacted and will be given the option to purchase the livestock at the bid that they placed.
The second highest bidder is under no obligation to purchase.
By placing a bid or by consigning livestock to The Breeder’s Connection
you are agreeing to all Terms and Conditions set forth by The Breeder’s Connection
and will adhere to all consignor/bidder rules.
Failure to follow rules will forfeit your right to use
The Breeder’s Connections services as a seller and buyer.
You Must Read Before You Place A Bid
