War Paint was originally owned by Brad Brettin and was sold to Bud Kirby at the 2002 Benny Binion Sale during the NFR for $24,000.00. DAM: #75 Air Fare - Custer Granddaughter that came from Harry Vold. We named this mare Speckled Back because of the cool paint markings across her back. We purchased her from Brandon Johnson in 2015 after her full brother was one of the top selling dummy colts at the 2014 Benny Binion Sale in Las Vegas. War Paint & Custer Breeding all in one mare. Selling exposed to Spud Creek Rodeo's Switchfoot! Switchfoot is just a coming 4yr old. Switchfoot is sired by #335 Bootlicker who is a double bred Grandson of Sutton's Justin Boots. Switchfoot's mother, High Pockets, goes back to Exposure (Son of Major / Custer Breeding) and also goes back to Lunar Rocket a son of Calgary's famous mare Cindy Rocket. Switchfoot is the first stud colt out of this cross making him a full brother to Blueberry Buckle (sold for 20k), Blackberry Smoke, Blueberry Special and I'm Your Huckleberry, who have all been exceptional barebacks. |
