She competed in Watford City as a yearling and placed second to 921 Afternoon Delight, but it was a very close competition and she had a great trip.

Last summer a neighbors Quarter horse stud donated his services and she had a colt last spring as a three year old. Since she had a colt to raise and the main reason we got her was to cross her genetics we ran her with 690 Lunaticulator and she is confirmed bred.

Burch's let Suttons breed to Dakota Bob as a 3yr old, which produced NFR horses Campfire and Rambo.

Campfire has raised two great using horses Night Shift (Sutton) and Chucking Fire (Gifford & Diamond G). Rambo has raised First Blood (Sutton).

Dakota Time, a Sutton stud, was also produced out of that crop which is the sire to Prom Night (Sutton) (Multi time NFR TV PEN).

237 Bartender was another colt out of the first Dakota Bob crop that has raised Knobs and Face Book (NFR).

Burch's sold Dakota Bob to a guy in Canada. Steve Sutton bought him in 2020 and got two more colt crops out of him before he passed away.

Dakota Bob's offspring have been some incredible producers. Dakota Bob is deceased, making this 2022 stud colt one of the last colts sired by Dakota Bob.

Dakota Bob and bloodlines back to Burch's Rapid City Sorrel and Tooke are working great crossed with crosses of Mr T, Justin Boots, and Chuckulator.

We aren’t putting on rodeos or hauling so are trying to get out of the business. Or at least Elsie is trying to get Jim out of the business.

We were able to get these horses hauled this past summer and to a few summer before. We have weeded out any horses that we thought weren’t good prospects, but felt these horses really deserve the opportunity to be in someones string.

Most are grandson’s of Justin Boots and all of our horses come from known bucking stock. Our program has produced many good buckers in the past, including NFR qualifiers C5's Fabio. Past stallions have included a Harry Vold bred horse, “Wilson”, SDRA Bareback and Saddle Bronc in different years. “Cocked and Ready” and “Boot Bags” studs were also SDRA Horse of the year winners in various years.
