#311 Why Not Minot
#J3 Buffalo Bill
The only way to add this Legend into your herd is through his semen. #311 Why Not Minot is deceased. He will never be collected again. ONLY 30 STRAWS WILL BE SOLD HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO BUY 10 OF THEM!!! #311 Why Not Minot was born in 1993, and was raised by Wayne Eckroth. His sire, #J3 Buffalo Bill (raised by Jerry Weinberger) was the 1989 NRCA Bull of the Year. #J3's dam was also the mother to #J1 Boogie Man (raised by Jerry Weinberger) who was an NFR bucking bull in the late '80's. #252, Why Not's dam, is also the mother to Eckroth's #411 McGruff. J1 Boogie Man (NFR Bull) & J3 Buffalo Bill are by the same cow as #911(which is also sired by J1). #911 is the sire of #99 Dippin Cooter (2004 PBR Finals and NFR Bull) In 1996 #311 Why Not Minot was a NDRA Finals qualifier as a 3 year old. In 1997 he was the Rough Rider Rodeo Assn. Bull of the Year, and the NDRA Co-Bull of the Year. #311 Why Not Minot was unridden when Harry Vold purchased him from Wayne Eckroth. We've only had 1 bull calve from #311 Why Not Minot, we had to put him down at age 6 from a neck injury. When they rode him it was always 80+ and he bucked off several PRCA bullriders from the Upper Midwest, good solid bull that would take the haulin just like 311. #311 will always be remembered as being one of the biggest hearted bulls in rodeo. There was no denying the fact that come rain or shine, and thousands of miles underneath him, you could still count on him bucking. Harry Vold will tell ya that #311 was possibly THE BEST BULL HE EVER HAULED. Two of his most memorable trips: 1999 Cheyenne Frontier Days - Brian Herman and #311 tied the arena record with a 94 point bull ride. 2002 DNCFR, Pocatello, ID - Mike Moore rides #311 for 91points - see the above picture. Keep #311 Why Not Minot's memory alive by crossing him with some great producing cows! You are bidding on 10 straws of semen!
