(example if Winning Bid is $1,200.00) Per embryo implant fee 10 times $100 $1,000 Deposit on ET calves 10 times $600 (1/2 of $1,200 bid) $6,000 Total due before embryos are implanted $7,000 6 ET calves are produced 6 times $1,200 $7,200 Less ET calf deposit - $6,000 Total due in October 2006 when calves are picked up $1,200.00 HIGH BID DOES NOT INCLUDE THE $100.00 PER EMBRYO IMPLANT FEE Your high bid includes: Use of Recip Cows - Cost Associated with the Recip Cows Consignor will calve out the recip cow, and keep the calf until weaned in October, 2006 Shane Prill will implant buyers embryos into beef cows. The embryologist will be Dr. Kirk Gray, Westmoreland, Kansas. We expect to have a 60% pregnancy rate, however there is absolutely no guarantee as to the number of Embroy Tranfer (ET) calves that will be produced. It is in Prills best interest for as many as possible, because he will receive a higher value for the ET calves than beef calves from the same cows. Buyer will pay $100 per embryo supplied to Prill, plus ½ of bid price as a deposit on buying the ET calves produced. In October 2006 buyer will pickup ET calves at the ranch in Northern Kansas and pay any amount owed at that time.
