| #R7 Spotted Fever REGISTERED SON of Pacific Bell Spotted Fever is a bull that we bought in the late 1990's from Dan Russell. Spotted Fever is ABBI Registered. He is a Pacific Bell calf and there is an 85% likelihood that he is a grandson of Grasshopper on the dams side. When compared to 12 Grasshopper daughters, there was a 55-78% match on all 12. The tech. told us that indicated an 85+% chance that the dam was a Grasshopper daughter. This bull was rank in his day. He was a short round bull at Reno the yr. before we bought him. The majority of the calves that we have out of #R7 are young. He is 14 yrs. old and covers 30 cows a summer for us. The first calf that we had out of him, Haunted Heart, ended up crippled. We took Haunted Heart to the ABBI Classic in Gillette, WY in 2004 as a 3 yr. old. Steven Shelley was 89.5 on him to win the long round. This bull is a producer with a lot of longevity behind him. We have several calves that show superstar potential. Semen is Limted, and these are the 1st straws offered for sale. We are selling them with NO RESERVE, so have at it!!! |
