| Rusty was born on our Ranch in March, 2003. I bucked him with just a rope and flank in the early spring of 2005. He jumped out 3 & turned back both ways, & really bucked “Kicked�. I had to pull him out of it, he wouldn’t stop. I bucked him one more time in July 2005 under a dummy. He was grass fat & in a deep sand arena he turned back again but was sluggish. I believe if he was in better shape he would have bucked. Both times he was flanked light. I think he’d really buck with a man. Rusty is a real easy keeper & I’ve handled him since he was a calf. He will still stand in a chute, & leave an arena & pass through a gate when you call him to do so. He also loads in a trailer easy. Rusty couldn’t be anymore ready to be schooled on & bucked. He’s a great bull with good lineage. I just don’t have the time to make him. You will really like this bull!!! It is said that Rusty’s sire Copenhagen Pounder goes back to Mr. T although DNA never proved that. Pounder was born on the Burns Ranch & was a great big red horned bull that bucked hard and for his size. He looked a lot like Burns High Five & High Plains, which I believe goes back to Mr. T somehow. Pounder was a NFR & PBR Bull - CLICK HERE to see his PBR STATS Plum Drop is sired by Mighty Whitey, a Kephart Raised bull. Mighty Whitey was a NFR & BRO Finals Bull hauled by Sammy Andrews. He was was a more than just a solid campaigner. He was good to ride but also threw off a lot of good hands. |
